We are seeking experienced Service Improvement and Turnaround Managers to join our Bank Leadership Team, supporting our Residential and Nursing Care Homes across Kent and South East London.
This is an exciting opportunity for accomplished care leaders who thrive in challenging environments and have a proven track record of improving service quality, strengthening leadership teams, supporting regulatory compliance, and driving operational excellence.
You will be deployed into services requiring additional leadership support, improvement planning, occupancy recovery, culture transformation, inspection readiness, or interim management cover.
The Role
As a Bank Service Improvement & Turnaround Manager, you will:
• Lead improvement programmes within residential and nursing care services
• Support homes requiring focused operational or quality intervention
• Conduct service audits and identify opportunities for improvement
• Develop and implement robust action and recovery plans
• Strengthen governance, compliance, and quality assurance processes
• Coach and develop Home Managers, Deputies, and wider leadership teams
• Support services in preparing for and responding to CQC inspections
• Drive improvements in resident outcomes and care quality
• Assist with occupancy recovery and stakeholder confidence
• Support recruitment, retention, and workforce stabilisation initiatives
• Deliver measurable and sustainable service improvements
• Provide interim management support where required
What We're Looking For
We are interested in hearing from experienced leaders who can demonstrate:
• Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Regional Operations Manager, Turnaround Manager, Service Improvement Manager or Operations Manager within residential and nursing care
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality frameworks
• Experience leading service improvement, transformation, or turnaround programmes
• Proven ability to manage change and deliver measurable outcomes
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience within Residential, Nursing, Dementia, or Complex Care services
• Flexibility to travel across Kent and South East London
• Experience supporting services through action plans, or improvement journeys
Desirable
• Nurse qualification (RGN)
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
• Multi-site management experience
