As a Domestic Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, spotless, and welcoming home our residents can be proud of. Your work will have a real impact on their comfort, wellbeing, and daily happiness.
What You’ll Do
- Keep resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared spaces clean and inviting
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control
- Follow cleaning schedules and best practices
- Replenish supplies and report maintenance issues
- Use cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for residents, visitors, and colleagues
- Work in line with health & safety and care home policies
About You
- Previous cleaning experience is a bonus—but not essential
- Basic understanding of hygiene standards (or willingness to learn)
- Reliable, organised, and take pride in your work
- Respectful, caring, and mindful of working in a resident’s home
- A team player who can also work independently
