I am looking for a People & Organisation Development Manager who embodies ethics, trust, and accountability; someone with not only expertise but also a strong moral compass to navigate complexity and drive real change.

Reporting to me, you will play a key role in shaping our people strategy. You’ll bring cutting-edge thinking to challenge, influence, and inspire, helping us build a positive, values-led culture even when the road isn’t smooth. This role is critical in delivering an effective and seamless business management service while ensuring that our POD programmes, projects, and activities are coordinated, efficient, and impactful. You will also lead and support a team of People Specialists, ensuring they are empowered to deliver an outstanding service.


About the Role:

  • Provide expert guidance on people and organisational development.
  • Oversee complex case management
  • Lead the design and delivery of leadership and management development programmes.
  • Analyse workforce data to monitor KPIs and supportdecision-making.
  • Drive performance, competency management, and engagement initiatives.
  • Advise and provide support to operational teams on change and transformation programmes
  • Prepare analysis of data, research and information for the Director of People & OD, for general oversight and board papers.
  • Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion strategies.
  • Work closely with the Project Delivery Manager on the implementation of relevant Workforce systems and tools. 
  • Analyse existing team structures and talent needs, and recommend areas for improvement and organisational effectiveness, capability enhancement and future growth to the Director of People & OD
  • Ensure appropriate resource planning and staffing structures for new developments and projects, and ensure that work scheduling takes place as per the project plan
  • Work closely with operational teams and the Director of People & OD to develop and implement academy/development programmes

What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 5 CIPD qualification.
  • Experience in employee relations, change management, and talent development.
  • Experience of communicating and influencing across the range of the organisation including presentations and report writing.
  • Experience of managing or supporting change/transformation programmes
  • Experience of setting up system and processes to track delivery of People & OD programmes and ensuring effective delivery and outputs.
  • Experience of analysing and monitoring data/information and producing quality reports and plans.
  • Experience of using a variety of tools and systems to collate, analyse and report data, and provide commentary.
  • Experience of supporting development and/or assessment centres.
