We are looking for a Senior Care Lead - Full Time or Part Time (Nights) to join our team at Amherst Court, located in Chatham, Kent. This role requires an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care, along with prior experience in a similar position.

About the Role: As a Senior Care Lead, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of Care Assistants and ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Home Manager and Deputy Manager to deliver person-centred care, focused on meeting residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs.

You will also support the management of the home in the absence of senior staff, ensuring that our care practices align with Avante’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example in delivering personal care in line with residents’ care plans.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of Care Assistants, ensuring care practices meet Avante’s quality standards.
  • Contribute to staff training and development, maintaining a safe and effective working environment.
  • Promote and adhere to Health and Safety regulations, ensuring the safety of staff, residents, and visitors.
