Many of our exceptional Home Care Professionals started with zero experience in care, and that's perfectly okay! We believe in nurturing talent, so don’t let a lack of experience hold you back. We provide comprehensive training to get you ready to make a difference in the lives of our service users, offering companionship, promoting independence, and assisting with vital support like medication management, household tasks, and personal care.
Core Responsibilities:
Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.
Companionship and Emotional Support: Provide company and engage in meaningful conversations, offering emotional support to enhance the client’s quality of life.
Meal Preparation: Plan, prepare, and cook healthy meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
Household Tasks: Perform light cleaning, laundry, ironing, and manage other household duties as required to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
Medication Management: Assist clients with medication reminders and administration as needed, ensuring adherence to prescribed regimens.
Running Errands: Carry out shopping, pick up prescriptions, and complete other errands as requested by the client.
Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and various activities, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Specialized Care: Provide specialized care for clients with conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s disease, or post-stroke recovery, as necessary.
Liaising with Professionals: Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, including doctors and therapists, regarding the client's care, needs, and well-being.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a caregiving role.
- Comprehensive understanding of personal care practices and specialized care needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and show initiative.
Requirements: A valid driving license and work authorization in the United Kingdom are required.
