At Avante Care & Support, we're more than a care provider—we're a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting older people to live well. We proudly provide high-quality nursing, dementia and residential care, supporting over 1,000 people across our homes and community services.

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Home Manager to lead our stunning 60-bed purpose-built nursing and dementia home in Canterbury.

As the Home Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering outstanding, person-centred care while ensuring the home achieves excellence in quality, compliance, occupancy and team engagement.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Home Manager or experienced Deputy Manager ready for the next step
  • Strong clinical leadership with experience in nursing and dementia care
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards
  • A proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Passion for delivering exceptional person-centred care
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, occupancy and performance

What you'll be doing

  • Providing visible, compassionate leadership across the home
  • Leading and supporting a skilled multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care
  • Driving continuous improvement, quality assurance and regulatory compliance
  • Creating a positive culture where residents, relatives and colleagues feel valued
  • Managing the home's financial performance, occupancy and overall operations
  • Working closely with senior leaders to continue developing this growing service
